1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NepalStartups (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Startup submissions

• You may submit a startup only if you are authorized to represent it.
• Submissions must be accurate, complete, and not misleading. You must not impersonate another person or company.
• We review submissions before publishing and may reject or remove any submission at our discretion.
• Submitting a startup does not guarantee listing, ranking, or visibility.
• You may claim an existing listing only if you are authorized to represent that startup; ownership transfers require verification by email to the listing's contact address.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content you grant NepalStartups a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, distribute, and promote that content on and in connection with the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any law or regulation.
• Infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
• Submit false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by automated scraping, spamming, or denial-of-service.
• Upload malware or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications.

7. Moderation

We may remove or edit content, suspend or terminate accounts, and take other actions we consider appropriate to enforce these Terms and protect the Service and its users. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, logos, and software, is owned by NepalStartups and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

9. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. NepalStartups is a discovery platform, not an investment, advisory, or verification service. Listings are user-submitted and reviewed for basic quality only; we do not verify the accuracy of claims made by startups, and we do not facilitate investments. Verify any startup independently before making decisions.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NepalStartups will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, zero).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NepalStartups and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nepal, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new date and, for material changes, notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
