Sahara Labs builds business software for Nepali companies, starting with Sahara Core, an accounting and operations system where any staff member can make an entry, the owner is notified the moment it lands, and every side of that entry shows up in the reporting. The founder, Saroj Rijal, is an accounting graduate who keeps his own family's books and helped prepare the paperwork for his family factory's first export shipment, and built Sahara because the tools he needed did not exist for businesses like his. The product is aimed at the small and mid-sized companies that run on spreadsheets and WhatsApp, and it is in active development from Chitwan.
