Nepali Startups is committed to curating a high-signal, verified directory of companies building products, services, and technology in Nepal and globally. To maintain the highest standard for our ecosystem, all submissions are reviewed against these guidelines.
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Nepali Origin or Significant Connection: Founded by Nepali entrepreneurs, headquartered in Nepal, or maintaining core operations/engineering within Nepal.
- Active Venture or Product: The venture must have a functioning MVP, live website, registered business, or verifiable product. Pure domain placeholders or inactive landing pages without substance are not accepted.
- Working Website: A secure (HTTPS preferred) website, web application, mobile app store listing, or active social channel representing the venture.
2. What We Look For in Your Submission
- Descriptive Name & Crisp Tagline: State clearly what your venture does in one sentence without excessive jargon.
- Authentic Narrative: Detail the problem you are tackling, who your customers are, and the technology or business model you use.
- High-Resolution Media: Clean logos (preferably square with transparent or solid background) and clear product screenshots showing the actual user interface or service.
- Accurate Categories: Select 1 to 5 categories that accurately reflect your core offering to help users and investors discover your work.
3. What Will Be Rejected
- Illegal goods, unlicensed gambling, or fraudulent schemes.
- Plagiarized, duplicate, or impersonated ventures.
- Keyword-stuffed taglines or low-effort AI-generated gibberish.
- Submissions with broken URLs or unreachable websites.
4. Verification & Review Timeline
Submissions are typically reviewed within 24 to 48 hours. Once approved, your venture goes live on the public directory, and you will receive Founder status with dashboard editing privileges.
